 This one is big. Talbots basically has 2 really big sales throughout the year and this is one of them. The other is right around Christmas. Lots and lots of summer stuff will be on sale. Which is awesome if you still need to pick up some pieces for your summer wardrobe. That's the good thing. The bad thing is that people wait for this sale and I mean wait. So the good stuff gets picked over pretty quick. My advice shop online now or go Wednesday. Everything has been marked and the computers are updated by then, so they'll usually let you shop a day before the official start date. Very nice.
To help get you started I did a little shopping myself. Here's a few of my favorites....
This twill stand-collar jacket is oh so cute and affordable at just $44 (reg. $78). This pair of shell-flower thongs are just lovely in price at $49 (reg. $74) and appearance. And this flat, dressy look is everywhere for summer. Very nice. For $39 (reg. $78) these buckle-band slides are just the ticket. This pretty pima cotton vneck tee is perfect for summer skirts and shorts. It's just $14 (reg. $28) and comes in a ton of colors. Or this tie-front cotton skirt for just $29 (reg. $58). And if you're looking for work options, check out this refined vneck tee for just $29 (reg. $44). Lots of options I tell you.
But remember if you're after the really, really good deals you should wait until they mark things down again. Which is usually a few weeks into the sale. The good news - their stuff gets to be very affordable. The bad news - the good stuff gets really limited by then. So if it is not something you just have to have, try and wait. You might just get lucky. Have fun! |
