 Maybe it's just imagination, but I really feel like stores are pushing out the summer stuff soooo much earlier this year. I mean, Talbot's big sale is already going on and I swear that used to start closer to the end of June not the middle. Summer stuff is up to 60% off an Ann Taylor Loft and up to 50% at Ann Taylor. It's up to 60% off at Express too. And there's a ton of great deals to be had online at Gap and even better ones in their stores. J.Crew too. Not to mention Banana Republic's big summer sale which starts this Thursday.
The good news is the good stuff is actually on sale exactly when you want to be wearing it. The bad news I think it twofold. One - if you don't get it now it'll be gone by July. Ok...maybe that's a slight exaggeration, but you know what I mean. And two - the early fall line will be in stores before you know it tempting us to buy, buy, buy before we're even half way through summer. Aaauuugghhhh!!! |

| The whole mall is on sale! I was drawn there by your announcement about Banana Republic, only to find that each and every store was conducting the same sale. Where can I find the "Retail Calendar" that lists when each season is first offered and then goes on sale? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |
