 Yes, it's true. The Forth and Towne store concept is being scrapped, according to a press release issued by Gap, Inc. yesterday. I can't say I'm all that disappointed as I have only shopped there once or twice. But it is always nice to have options and by early summer 2007 we will have one less. All the stores will be closed by sometime in June. As for the merchandise, no one is quite sure yet, but my guess is there will be some major markdowns going on. Stayed tuned for more info. |
