 For some reason I always find it difficult to find something to wear with navy shorts. White is fine, but sometimes I want something with a bit more zip. Today I'm going with a fun graphic tee from J.Crew. It's super soft and lightweight for summer and the grey/navy color goes well with my shorts.
Like I said, graphic tees are one my favs for casual days. They're great on their own or layered under a sweater, etc. And they add just a bit of zip to an otherwise ordinary outfit.

-Cotton poplin cargo shorts in navy from Ann Taylor. These aren't available online, so check your local AT store for availability. They retail for $54.00.
