Everyone likes a deal now and then and this one couldn't be timelier. 9 states and the District of Columbia are offering shopper's sales tax-free shopping on select items such as clothing, shoes, and even notebooks over the next few weeks, just in time for back to school shopping. Very cool I say.
Though qualifying items vary from state to state and there are some restrictions of course, this tax-free stuff can work out to be a pretty good savings for shoppers. So check out the list below to see you live in one of these lucky states and if not.....well you just might want to schedule yourself a little out-of-state shopping trip.

FYI, Maryland and Tennessee will have tax holidays in 2006.
