Here's a great way to accessories for summer - throw on a headband.  From big & wide, to skinny minnies, to stretchy fabrics and more.  There's a headband out there just calling your name.  Ann Taylor has a great one.  J.Crew has a few. Forever 21 as well.  So find one that suits your style and go for it.

Great totes for summer

There's nothing better than a nice beach tote that you can schlep all your necessities in when heading to the beach, the lake, or the local swimming pool.  The problem is most of them look just a bit too beachy for me.  So I dug around to find a few that look just as good going out and about town as they do going to the beach.

If you're in the market for a bathing suit this year be ready for a little sticker shot.  Sure you can get a teeny bikini just about anywhere for pretty darn cheap, but the minute you want a few "extras" the prices starts to climb.  Logical?  Yes.  But I would really love to be able to afford more than ONE. The newest thing in sunless tanning - tinted moisturizers

Move over self tanners of yesteryears there's a new product in town - tinted moisturizers.  Neutrogena has one.  So does Aveeno.  Jergens too.  How different are they than the original sunless tanners?  Let me guess.....a little more moisturizing?  Fortunately, there's a little more to them than that. I've been seeing these little numbers everywhere lately.  With the whole arts & crafts trend going on, crochet sweaters are becoming very popular.  If you love this style - it's your lucky day.  If not - you might want to reconsider.  Not that you have to go hog wild, but it's always nice to change things up a bit and a crochet sweater is definitely a lovely way to do it.

Shorty short shorts......they're in my friend

We've gone from cropped pants to bermudas to thigh riders my friends.  These 2 1/2 to 3 inch long shorty shorts are making a come back this summer.  But according to a USA Today article, these aren't shorts suitable for the gym nor do they deserve the description "Daisy Dukes".  No, these babies are a bit dressier and paired with chunky pumps and a floaty blouse they are showing up at nightclubs and even the office.
